Spirit Week Closed Out an Incredible Summer at St. Matthew's Weekday School
And just like that, our summer is complete. Spirit Week at St. Matthew's Weekday School was the perfect way to wrap up eleven weeks of adventure, learning, and joy together.
Each day of Spirit Week had its own theme and energy. Campers came in wearing their favorite colors, their silliest outfits, their pajamas, and their best team spirit looks. The hallways were full of laughter and the kind of excitement that only comes from a group of kids who have truly bonded over a summer together.
We celebrated everything we experienced this summer with reflection activities, scrapbook pages, and a "favorites wall" where every child could share their highlights from the weeks past. Reading through those favorites reminded us what a full, rich summer this was.
Our end-of-summer celebration brought everything together with music, dancing, a photo booth, special snacks, and heartfelt moments between children and teachers who have grown genuinely close over these past months. There were hugs. There were a few happy tears. There was a lot of pride.
To every family who trusted us with your children this summer: thank you. Watching your kids grow, explore, create, and connect with each other has been the greatest privilege. We carry them with us as we look ahead to another year together at St. Matthew's Weekday School.
